Do you know why the signboard says Happy Wonton Noodle? Because after eating it, you will feel happy!
This is just a branch of the main stall which is the Carlton Restaurant along East Coast Road. For people who loves dark sauce, this is it. This kind of dark sauce wonton noodle are getting rare nowadays, and so lucky that i have found this stall at Bukit Timah Food Centre.
The noodles are very QQ, which made the noodle really good. Char Siew and wonton wise, i would give a average rating only. Nevertheless, this is one of the good wonton noodle i ever came across. 4/5

For beef noodle lovers, you gotta try this!

Large Beef Noodle Dry - $5

It find it most satisfying discovering the real good food rather than depending on what the newspaper and TV recommend. And this particular stall did not let me down for today, instead it made my trip all the way to changi village meaningful. This, Changi Beef Kway Teow Mee, is the BEST beef noodle i had so far. Having a largest bowl of noodle really satisfy me. Start from soup first, I find the soup sweet and robust and containing flavour of beef.

Now, the DRY noodle is the real exciting part.

We all know that dry beef noodle is really different from other dry noodles, like dry fishball noodle. Unlike dry fishball noodle, dry beef noodle comes with a thick gravy that fills almost more than 4/5 of the bowl. And this is what made the dish so yummy and shiok!

Too bad i cannot get a clear shot of the gravy, but it is really different. Imagine you are having a bowl of shark fin soup. Instead of finding crabmeat inside, you will find tiny strands of beef, and the gravy is thick. YES, thats is how the gravy is like, and it taste fabulous! You really need to have a spoonful of gravy and taste the gravy before dining in! 4.75/5!!!

You must try this first before calling yourself a beef noodle lover.

Standard Set - $2.50

At last i had a chance to taste one of Changi Village's Nasi Lemak Stalls. Luckily I went there during non-peak hours, or else i would have to wait for 20 minutes for just one plate of Nasi Lemak. The best is the rice, followed by the chicken wing. The rice have a strong smell of pandan, and once you had the taste of the rice, it is so good until you will never forget it. Shiok! Next is the chicken wing, smells good and taste excellent. The best part is you get to eat it hot, unlike others cold and not crispy. 4.5/5

Pork Chop - $5

Journey to Bukit Merah on one Saturday night. Well, basically we want some good food to fill our desire and yes, after walking more than 30 minutes to find this bloody Bukit Merah View Food Centre, we had found it!
Together the three fo us, we ordered different set to have a try on different things. Mine was Pork Chop, and i am glad that i had ordered the correct set. Their pork chop is thinner than any other than i had tried, but the whole set comes with 2 slices of pork lion inside. Neither soft nor too hard, its texture was good. But what i like most is the gravy and the coleslaw. The black pepper gravy was simply good, and it goes perfectly with the pork chop, that is why i had mentioned that i had made the correct choice. Same goes for the coleslaw, excellent. 4.25/5

Fish & Chip - $5

I had only eaten two mouth of this Fish & Chip, and i can taste the taste of herbs like basil instead of using MSG. $5 for a Fish & Chip is no more bargain. I mean hello, the portion is huge for your info, although the picture above does look like it. For more information, i shall let NarDd to edit this. My rating, 4/5

I couldn't agree more, this dish is simply worth the money. I remember going to coffee shops and eating fish and chips, but I had never tasted one of this quality! Normally, the fish that are used are the frozen dory fishes which produces a smell that isn't quite nice in the fishes and mashy fish. However, in this fish and chips, the fish had no smell and the fish was rather crispy and is soft and not hard at all, eating a fish without the tenderness really bores people..

Chicken Cullet - $5

Updates:
The main owner had relocated his stall at ABC brickworks food centre and handed his former stall at Bukit Merah View to his inmate that he had trained him. Which means, we haven't tried the best standard of this yet. Hmmms.

Fried Hokkien Noodle - $3

I remembered correctly that this was featured in the My Makan Places - Lost and Found 2 by Gurmit Singh and Michelle Chia. I came across this show when i was in a bus watching this show on TVMobile. Coincidentally, it is located in Lavender Food Centre, which is quite near during my bus journey. Therefore, i alighted at Jln Besar and went there for my hunt.
It really disappoint me when i had a taste of this, not as good from what i expect from what i see on the TV show. Nevertheless, the quality is above average. One thing I like about this is they use xi mi fen (thin bee hoon) rather than chu mi fen (thick bee hoon), which makes it easier to taste their soup used to cook this inside the beehoon. Maybe their fried kway teow or oyster omelette will be better? Haha. 3.5/5
